
This lesson focuses on the core art skill of appreciating and reflecting. Children will explore what abstract art is by looking closely at a range of artworks. They will describe colours, lines and shapes, compare abstract and realistic art and talk about how different colours can make them feel. Children will also create a simple abstract artwork inspired by what they observe.
