In this lesson, children begin to estimate with money. They use their understanding of rounding to estimate calculations such as £2.03 + £4.99 by working out £2 + £5. This lesson includes a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions, as well as 3 sets of extra fluency questions.
