In this lesson, children recap previous learning on money to look at combinations of pounds and pence expressed as £3.50, rather than £3 and 50p. They write given amounts in this decimal notation and represent amounts of money when given in decimal notation. This lesson includes a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions, as well as 3 sets of extra fluency questions.
