Description

This resource teaches the students to use the formula for the area of a rectangle to find the area of a right-angled triangle. There is a teaching presentation and three levels of worksheets (working towards, expected and greater depth) with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem solving questions.

recognise that shapes with the same areas can have different perimeters and vice versa calculate the area of parallelograms and triangles
