The assessment pack includes two pre-assessments that pupils need to complete to ensure they are ready for the scheme:
1. Irregular verbs assessment: This is a one-to-one assessment focusing on both the spoken and written forms of irregular verbs
 2. Regular base verbs assessment: This can be administered to the whole class at once
