This lesson focuses on the core art skill of experimenting. Children will explore how expressive lines, marks, and patterns can communicate ideas. They will look at examples of doodle and abstract art to understand that drawing doesn’t have to be realistic to be meaningful. Pupils will experiment with continuous line and pattern-making to create their own doodle artwork.
