Lesson 7: Did the Shang Dynasty write anything down?
In this lesson, the children will work on the key historical skills of evidence and interpretation. They will learn about oracle bones and how Shang society used them to communicate with the gods. The lesson will introduce the children to ancient Chinese symbols used on the oracle bones and their meanings. They can create their own message using similar symbols on their own oracle bone.
