In this objective, children will learn how to form words with the base –gram-. Over three 20-minute lessons, they will:
·               Learn that the base -gram- means a something written
·               Explore a range of words that contain -gram-
·               Solve anagrams of words containing -gram-
·               Match words with the base -gram - to their correct definitions
·               Solve word sums
·               Learn that some words need a connecting vowel eg. gramophone
·               Build words by adding morphemes
·               Sort words into their correct type
·               Use matrices to explore and build new words
·               Reinforce learning with practical games
