
This lesson focuses on the core art skill of appreciating and reflecting. Children will look closely at examples of sculptures and talk about how they are different from flat art. They will explore the work of artists who use clay and nature for inspiration, learning about imprinting by pressing natural objects into clay. Through discussion and experimentation, they will describe what they notice and share how the artwork makes them feel.
