Description

In this lesson, children explore the use of 2D shapes to make up nets to form 3D shapes. They recap edges, faces and vertices and explore which 2D shapes are needed to make different 3D shapes. This lesson includes a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions, as well as 3 sets of extra fluency questions.
