In this lesson, children expand on their knowledge by looking at the capacity of objects. They learn the difference between capacity and volume and estimate the capacity of unknown objects that contain set amounts of liquids inside. This lesson includes a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions, as well as 3 sets of extra fluency questions.
