In this lesson, children classify angles using learning from the previous step and are introduced to reflex angles. They classify acute, obtuse and reflex angles visually and move on to classifying numeral angles, such as describing that 117° is an obtuse angle because it is greater than 90° but less than 180°. This lesson includes a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions, as well as 3 sets of extra fluency questions.
