Description

In this lesson, children divide by 10, 100 and 1,000 using place value charts to support understanding. They use the language one-tenth, one-hundredth and one-thousandth the size of. This lesson includes a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions, as well as 3 sets of extra fluency questions.
