Lesson 6 - Thousandths as decimals
In this lesson, children will build on their learning of thousandths from the previous lesson by showing them as decimals. They will be taught how 1/1000 (this to be written as a fraction please) is written as 0.001 as a decimal. There is a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions.

· recognise and use thousandths and relate them to tenths, hundredths and decimal equivalents
