In this lesson, children expand on their knowledge of converting unit of metric lengths. They discuss the difference between ‘milli-’ and ‘centi-’ and use multiplication and division to convert between metric units of length. This lesson includes a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions, as well as 3 sets of extra fluency questions.
