In this lesson, children will be introduced to and learn to understand the concept of Area. They will explore the use of concrete resources such as square sticky notes to find the surface area of a shape or object. There is a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions.
