Description

In this lesson, children will build on their previous learning of addition and subtraction in year 3 to add and subtract 1s, 10s, 100s and 1,000s with 4-digit numbers. This lesson includes a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions, as well as 3 sets of extra fluency questions.
