In this lesson, children will measure and draw straight lines accurately, learning to position their ruler correctly. Lines are measured and drawn using centimetres and millimetres. They also explore describing length to the nearest centimetre using rounding.

Draw 2-D shapes and make 3-D shapes using modelling materials; recognise 3-D shapes in different orientations and describe them
