
In this lesson, children will build on their previous learning of money. They use pounds (£) and pence (p) to read amounts of money e.g. 4 pound and 25 pence. Children will compare amounts of money to further understanding of place value. The value of pence does not go over 100p in this step and children do not need to learn decimal notation of money.
