In this lesson, children build on their previous learning to compare three groups of objects. Children continue to use the language they have learnt so far and are introduced to the vocabulary ‘most’ and ‘fewest’ to describe the objects, as well as ‘greatest’ and ‘smallest’ to describe numbers. This lesson includes a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions, as well as 3 sets of extra fluency questions.
