Description

In this lesson, children begin to explore subtraction by finding a part when they know the whole and other part. They explore this through missing parts of addition, before moving onto recognising it as subtraction. This lesson includes a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions, as well as 3 sets of extra fluency questions.
