
This editable differentiated lesson pack focuses on the conditions different plants need to grow well. Children revisit what a healthy plant looks like, then explore three contrasting environments: hot and dry, shady and damp, and warm and sheltered. Using clue cards, children act as “plant detectives,” matching each plant to the place where it will grow best and explaining their reasoning. The lesson strengthens problem‑solving and communication skills as children justify their choices and consider what happens when plants are placed in the wrong conditions.
