Description

Children will apply their knowledge of multiplying and dividing by 4 to develop their understanding of the 4 times-table. Children continue to use arrays, concrete manipulatives, and pictorial representations to support.

National Curriculum objectives Recall and use multiplication and division facts for the 3, 4 and 8 multiplication tables Write and calculate mathematical statements for multiplication and division using the multiplication tables that they know, including for 2-digit numbers times 1-digit numbers, using mental and progressing to formal written methods
