In this editable lesson, children have opportunity to discuss why certain materials are used for certain objects. They then have the opportunity to investigate these materials to decide on the best material to help the Three Little Pigs. This lesson would be more beneficial for the children if they had the opportunity to observe and feel the different materials that are discussed as well as reading the 3 Little Pigs so they can discuss how materials are useful for different things.
