In this lesson, children apply their learning from the previous step to solve problems with coordinates. They find missing coordinates of shapes, using their knowledge of vertices, perimeter and area on coordinate grids that are unlabelled or have no gridlines. This lesson includes a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions, as well as 3 sets of extra fluency questions.
