In this lesson, children build on the previous step to round numbers within 100,000 to the nearest 10, 100, 1,000 or 10,000. They look again at exploring this on number lines and place value columns. This lesson includes a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions, as well as 3 sets of extra fluency questions.
