"This resource helps to promote high expectations and can be used as a discussion point at the beginning, during and at the end of a session. The aim is to help build independent, resilient learners who can preserve when faced with challenge. It is important that the children (and adults) understand that when they are playing, they are learning too and it is just as important as more formal times of the day. Therefore, these could be referred to for ALL learning opportunities including whole class inputs, small group sessions and continuous provision."...
