In this lesson, children utilise their previous learning in comparing numbers to explore on comparing calculations. They focus on finding similarities between the calculations, rather than solving them, in order to compare. This lesson includes a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions, as well as 3 sets of extra fluency questions.
