In this lesson, children build on their understanding of coordinates in the four quadrants to translate points and shapes. They begin translating points and move on to translating shapes. This lesson includes a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions, as well as 3 sets of extra fluency questions.
