In this lesson, children count forwards and complete numbers sequences up to 10. They will complete sequences using numerals, images and words. Children begin to understand the purpose of zero when counting. There is a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions.
