In this lesson, children use comparative language such as, 'equal to', 'more', 'less', 'greater than', 'fewer' and 'less than' to compare groups of objects. They will identify whether groups of objects are less than, greater than, or equal to each other. There is a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions.
