In this lesson, children are introduced to line graphs as a way of presenting continuous data. They will learn that the x axis is used for time. They will read and interpret line graphs and have the opportunity to complete their own. Children will also estimate values and read from a range of different scales.
There is a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions.

interpret and present data using bar charts, pictograms and tables
