In this lesson, children develop their understanding of circles, becoming confident in the language, “radius”, “diameter” and “circumference”. They look at the importance of the centre of the circle and the relationship between radius and diameter. This lesson includes a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions, as well as 3 sets of extra fluency questions.
